PSA

Our school has an active PSA (Parent School Association) and it has the following aims:

  • Raising money for specific projects and resources for the school
  • Contribute to the school community through social events for parents and/or children that also raise money
  • Getting to know other parents, and teachers, in an informal way

Each year, the PSA organises many fundraising events including spectacular Christmas and Summer Fairs; discos; raffles and sponsored events.

Funding from these events, over the last few years has enabled us to fund projects that really enhance our school environment and learning, such as:

  • The 'Pavilion'' building for lunch club and other activities
  • Sails and artificial grass for the courtyard
  • Outdoor play equipment and trim trail
  • IT resources
  • Outdoor history timeline
  • Contributing to the costs of educational visits and enrichment experiences

We encourage all parents and carers to be involved in, and support, our PSA and there are many ways in which you can do this:

  • Being a committee member – with a title (secretary, etc.) or as an ordinary committee member
  • Helping out at events
  • Letting the PSA know what your talents and interests are so that they can contact you when specialist support is required
  • Letting the PSA know if you have any business links that may benefit our fundraising efforts
